RAITT’S ROOTS: Orange County can rightly puff its chest a bit after Bonnie Raitt’s big night at the Grammy Awards. . . . The family’s roots here date to 1885, when her great-grandfather came to work on the Newport-Santa Ana Railroad. . . . Her father, musical theater star John Raitt (above), is a 1935 Fullerton High grad. . . . Raitt Street in Santa Ana is named after the family, and the swimming pool at a Fullerton YMCA is named after Bonnie’s late grandfather, Arch. . . . John Raitt will perform March 10 at a YMCA benefit in Fullerton.
