Hollywood : Chamber Names Chairman
Attorney John O. Adams has been named chairman of the board of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, replacing television executive Don Tillman, the chamber has announced.
Adams, 52, also owns the Tinsel Town Art Galleries. He will assume the chairmanship April 1, following two years of leadership by Tillman, vice president of programming and production for KTTV Channel 11.
The new chairman lives in the Hollywood Hills and concentrates his law practice on the handling of Chapter 11 business reorganization and other insolvency matters. He received his law degree from Loyola University Law School in Los Angeles.
Adams participates in a number of community-based civic service organizations, including the Hollywood YMCA, the Hollywood Arts Council and the Community Advisory Board of the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, according to the chamber. He has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce board for five years.
