Actor Feldman Arrested on Heroin Count
Actor Corey Feldman, who starred in the movie “Stand By Me,” was arrested after Los Angeles police stopped him for a traffic violation and found “significant” amounts of heroin in his car, authorities said Saturday.
Feldman, 18, of Beverly Hills, was booked on suspicion of possessing heroin for sale after officers from the Police Department’s Metropolitan Division pulled him over at 8th Street and Central Avenue, near downtown Los Angeles, said Lt. David Powers.
Feldman, who also appeared in the horror movies “The Lost Boys” and “Friday the 13th,” was handcuffed and taken to the Newton Division Station on Friday night, Powers said.
He was released from jail early Saturday morning after posting $5,486 bail, police said.
Feldman has been performing in movies and commercials since he was a small boy. In addition, he has acted in “Mork and Mindy,” “Eight is Enough” and “The Love Boat” television shows.
