3 Men Held After Standoff at Bar
Three men were arrested Wednesday night following a standoff with police after a failed robbery attempt at a Van Nuys bar, police said.
The incident began around 7:30 p.m. at the Nice and Easy Bar at Sherman Way and Sepulveda Boulevard, said police Officer C. Burke.
Burke said the men were thwarted in their attempt to rob the bar and held police at bay for at least an hour.
It was uncertain how many patrons were in the bar, Burke said.
The three men, whose names were not released, were in custody at the Van Nuys Jail Wednesday night.
