ANAHEIM : Commercial Center Hearing Is Tonight
The City Council will hold a public hearing tonight on a proposed regional shopping and business center in the eastern part of Anaheim Hills.
If approved by the council, a $100-million complex would be built on an 85-acre site on the southwest corner of Santa Ana Canyon and Roosevelt roads. The project would be the area’s first large-scale commercial center.
The complex, which would be called Anaheim Hills Festival, would include a 150-room hotel, 17-acre business commercial area and a 54-acre regional mall with shops, restaurants and a multi-screen movie theater.
If developed, the city could gain up to $2 million in annual sales tax revenues from the entire project, officials said.
