A judge cleared University of Pittsburgh football player Henry Tuten of assault charges, but convicted a co-defendent of participating in a brawl that left one victim with a broken jaw and another with a broken nose.
Allegheny County Judge Gerard Bigley convicted Julius Gray, 25, of Pittsburgh of two counts of simple assault. Gray was found not guilty of possessing an instrument of a crime--brass knuckles.
