Forum Title Bout Canceled; New Main Event Scheduled

Guadalupe Rubio of Mexico, scheduled to face World Boxing Council bantamweight champion Raul Perez, also of Mexico, at the Forum Monday, has flunked a required neurological exam, it was announced Tuesday.

A Forum spokesman said the title fight has been canceled and the new main event on the card will be a bout between champion Manuel Medina of Mexico and Ben Lopez of Upland for the World Boxing Assn.’s Intercontinental junior-lightweight title.
