Quarterback Dan Marino acknowledged for the first time that he has asked to be traded by Miami, and said he doesn’t know whether he will play for the Dolphins in 1990.
The seven-year veteran said he has talked about the matter with Coach Don Shula and club President Tim Robbie.
He also declined to explain why he is interested in a trade, although he has expressed frustration over Miami’s four-season playoff drought.
