One of the top sports weekends of the year is in store with the start of college basketball’s Final Four.

Channels 2 and 8 will carry both of today’s games, beginning at 2:30 p.m. with Duke meeting Arkansas. Nevada-Las Vegas faces Georgia Tech at about 5 p.m.

KCBS Channel 2 will have additional Final Four coverage at 7 p.m. with Keith Olbermann hosting “Road to Denver.” Loyola Marymount star Bo Kimble and USC Coach George Raveling will provide expert analysis. Following at 7:30 p.m. on KCBS, Verne Lundquist will host “College Basketball Championship Special.”

The women are also conducting their Final Four this weekend, with Channels 2 and 8 carrying the championship game at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

In the midst of all the basketball, the Dodgers make two television appearances this weekend. Today at 10 a.m., cable superstation WWOR carries their game against the New York Mets. Channel 11 broadcasts its first game of this delayed spring training Sunday at 10:30 a.m. with the troubled New York Yankees providing the opposition. Fernando Valenzuela and Orel Hershiser will pitch for the Dodgers, facing Dave LaPoint, Lee Guetterman and Freddie Toliver.
