Picasso Auction Raises AIDS Funds: The sale in London of four Pablo Picasso drawings donated by American photographer Douglas Duncan raised $127,100 for Romanian children suffering from AIDS, Christie’s auctioneers said Wednesday. Duncan donated the drawings on behalf of the U.S. welfare group Americares, which has been sending medical relief to Romania.
