Housing appreciation here over the last year, 7.9%, ranked the county 51st, far below the 24.1% of the hottest market, West Palm Beach. . . . Get used to it, the researchers say: With steady growth and no boom in the ‘90s, “Orange County’s economic heyday is over.”
