Man Killed When Pickup Overturns
A 34-year-old El Cajon man was killed early Saturday when the pickup he was driving overturned on California 125 in La Mesa, authorities said.
The victim, who was dead at the scene, was identified as Michael D. Karosa. He was not wearing a seat belt, the California Highway Patrol said.
The vehicle, traveling at high speed about 5 a.m., drifted off the road and struck a concrete bridge support, officials said. The driver, who was alone, was pinned inside when the truck overturned.
The CHP was investigating.
