Tight end Clarence Kay of the Denver Broncos says his past problem with drugs has created an obstacle in contract negotiations for his future.
As a Plan B free agent, at least seven teams invited him for interviews and physical exams. But he said he remained in Denver because the teams that subsequently offered him contracts wanted to include clauses pertaining to his past drug problems.
