THE SIDELINES : Utah Jazz Tickets Sell Out
From Times Wire Services
SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Jazz fans, queued up in a 100-yard-long line around the Salt Palace, took only 61 minutes to buy the 1,000 available tickets for the first round of the NBA playoffs.
“With the exception of 100 tickets which remain on hold for the NBA, every seat in the Salt Palace was sold in record time,” Jazz Marketing Vice President Jay Francis said.
A record 98% of Jazz season ticket-holders bought playoff tickets, limiting the general public sale Monday to 1,000 tickets.
