SANTA PAULA : Stolen Car Found in Utah; 2 Arrested
A car stolen from Santa Paula has been recovered in Utah, and the two suspected thieves have been arrested, police said Friday.
Rogelio Rodriguez Palomares, 35, of Santa Paula and Gerardo Montoya Garcia, 20, of Chicago were arraigned Friday in Sevier County, Utah, on charges of vehicle theft, said Sgt. Michael Saviers of the Santa Paula Police Department. Bail was set at $15,000, Saviers said.
The Santa Paula Police Department is investigating the two suspects for a rash of vehicle burglaries in the city in the last six weeks, Saviers said.
