Dallas Taylor Recuperating: Dallas Taylor, former drummer for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, is recovering at Cedars Sinai Medical Center following liver transplant surgery. Taylor was removed from intensive care on Friday. Taylor’s surgeon reported that the Tuesday surgery went fine. Taylor’s liver failure had been diagnosed in November, the result of years of alcohol and drug abuse, though he has been sober for five years, his doctors said. Taylor three weeks ago rejoined CSNY for one song during a Santa Monica Civic benefit concert to raise funds for his medical costs and transplant programs.
