A Hard Day’s Tour: Paul McCartney wrapped up his eight-month world tour by playing for 60,000 fans in Brazil over the weekend. The Rio de Janeiro soccer stadium audience heard McCartney belt out Beatles tunes and songs from his “Flowers in the Dirt” album. McCartney opened his concerts with a minute of silence for the preservation of the planet and wore an Earth Day 1990 T-shirt. Rio was the only Latin American stop on his world tour and tourists came from all over South America to hear the ex-Beatle sing.
