Revco to Sell 221 Stores: Revco D. S. Inc. said it agreed to sell 221 of its 1,873 stores to Reliable Holdings Corp. of Ft. Worth as part of its restructuring under bankruptcy court protection. The price of the deal, which includes all Revco stores in western Tennessee, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan and Missouri, was not disclosed. Twinsburg, Ohio-based Revco, one of the largest drugstore chains in the country with a work force of 26,800, filed for protection from creditors under Chapter 11 of the federal bankruptcy law in July, 1988.
