Estancia Boys Roll in Badminton Playoffs
The Estancia High School boys’ badminton doubles teams swept their matches to lead the unbeaten Eagles to a 16-3 victory over Ocean View in a first-round match of the Southern Section 4-A Division playoffs Thursday at Estancia.
Danh Nguyen and Ly Lam swept their matches, 15-5, 15-7, 15-12, 15-3, and Chung Nguyen and Tram SonHa won, 15-11, 15-11, 15-12, 15-8, to lead Estancia (17-0).
