P.M. BRIEFING : Trade Mission to Eastern Bloc

WASHINGTON — Commerce Secretary Robert A. Mosbacher said today that the United States plans to send a telecommunications mission to Czechoslovakia and Hungary in June.
In testimony before a House telecommunications subcommittee, he said the trip will allow officials from U.S. telecommunications equipment and services companies to meet with trade and telecommunications experts in Eastern European countries.
A similar trip was undertaken to Warsaw in February, Mosbacher said.
