Moody’s Downgrades Citicorp Debt: Moody’s Investors Service downgraded $37.4 billion in Citicorp debt, basing its decision on concerns about the quality of real estate and takeover loans at the nation’s largest banking firm. The announcement came nearly a month after rival Standard & Poor’s took similar action.
