FLASH FROM THE PAST
Temple City, celebrating its 30th anniversary of incorporation, was founded by Walter P. Temple in 1922. In 1936, the Town of Temple was officially designated a city by the U.S. Postal Service. A successful incorporation election in May, 1960, made its city status official.
