Police Seek Suspect in Fatal Stabbing
Police were searching Sunday for a man they believe fatally stabbed a friend during a Saturday night argument in North Hollywood.
Ricardo Rangel Gaytan, 25, of North Hollywood died from multiple stab wounds at 9:55 p.m., about three hours after an argument with Armando Beltran, 28, Los Angeles Police Lt. Michael Ranshaw said.
Gaytan and Beltran had been involved in a “minor altercation” at an apartment at 7660 Lankershim Blvd. when Beltran allegedly retrieved a knife from the kitchen and stabbed Gaytan several times, Ranshaw said.
