SFE Technologies Posts Loss for 2nd Quarter

SFE Technologies, a San Fernando maker of electronic components, said it lost $1.35 million in its fiscal second quarter, compared with a $28,000 loss a year earlier.

The latest loss in the quarter, which ended April 28, came on a 12% drop in SFE’s sales, to $7.17 million from $8.10 million.

For the first half of its fiscal year, SFE lost $2.52 million compared with a $561,000 loss a year earlier. Its six-month revenue fell 10%, to $13.7 million from $15.2 million.
