Malibu : Group Endorses Candidates
An environmental group has endorsed six candidates for City Council in Tuesday’s incorporation election.
The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters announced it has endorsed Frank Basso, Mike Caggiano, Walt Keller, Carolyn Van Horn, Larry Wan and Missy Zeitsoff.
Voters will select a five-member City Council at the same time they decide whether Malibu becomes a city. The group, a political action committee, called the six candidates “real environmentalists who understand the difference between talking about problems and finding solutions.”
