Stiv Bators; Singer Led Rock Bands

Stiv Bators, 37, a singer who founded the punk rock band Dead Boys in Cleveland in 1976 and the milder rock group Lords of the New Church in London in 1982. Bators, whose real name was Steve Bator, appeared in the movies “Tapeheads” and “Polyester.” The Dead Boys made two albums, “Young, Loud and Snotty” in 1977, and “We Have Come for Your Children” a year later.
