Countywide : Pope Elevates Status of 10 County Priests
Pope John Paul II has honored 10 Orange County priests, elevating each to prelate of honor with the title of monsignor.
Those honored are Father Lawrence J. Baird, Msgr. Brian P. Coghlan, Father Timothy J. Doyle, Father Michael A. Harris, Father Paul M. Martin, Father William B. McLaughlin, Father Daniel J. Murry, Father Jaime Soto, Father Peter Tien and Father John Urell.
The newly named prelates of honor will be invested in ceremonies at Holy Family Cathedral in Orange on Sept. 9.
