Depardieu Charged for Drunk Driving: Prosecutors charged actor Gerard Depardieu with drunken driving Wednesday following an accident that slightly injured a woman and her daughter in Clermont-Ferrand, France. Depardieu, who recently won the best-actor prize at the Cannes Film Festival for his performance in “Cyrano de Bergerac,” is to be tried Aug. 8 in nearby Riom, court sources said. If convicted, the 41-year-old actor faces 15 days to one year in jail. Prosecutors said his blood contained twice the legal alcohol limit of 0.08 percent after the accident.
