Arson Suspected in 20-Acre Brush Fire
About 20 acres of brush in the Angeles National Forest burned Thursday night in a fire that authorities said may have been started by an arsonist.
The fire broke out shortly after 5 p.m. near Bouquet Canyon and Spunky Canyon roads. No structures were threatened.
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has offered a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of an arsonist who set off a brush fire that consumed 625 acres in the same area July 14.
