Body of Woman Found
A U.S. Border Patrol agent found the body of an unidentified woman a mile east of the San Ysidro border crossing Thursday, San Diego police said.
The body was found by an agent patrolling the Spring Canyon area at 11:20 a.m. The body, believed to be that of a woman between 45 and 55 years old, was found in brush about 20 feet from a road, police said.
No signs of trauma were evident, the medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy was scheduled for today.
