Widmark Injured in Mower Struggle: Richard Widmark was in satisfactory condition at New Milford Hospital in Roxbury, Conn. Monday, as he recovered from leg injuries suffered in a weekend lawn mower accident, hospital spokesman Hank Fanberg said. Widmark, 75, underwent surgery on his lower left leg and foot, he said. Fanberg said that he did not know the extent of injuries or other details of the accident. Widmark, who has owned a home in Roxbury for years, has appeared in more than 30 films.
