RAM NOTES : Henley Is Back in Business After Hypoglycemic Episode

Two days after suffering an episode of hypoglycemic shock, Ram cornerback Darryl Henley returned to practice Wednesday morning and reported he was feeling fine.

“I was a little nervous, but practice went well,” Henley said. “The doctors said I’d be fine once I got back in the swing.”

Henley said from now on, he’s going to watch what he eats more closely. Hypoglycemia is a low level of sugar in the blood.

As expected, safety Pat Terrell, the Rams’ second-round draft choice, signed a four-year contract with the team Wednesday, though he wasn’t all that happy with the terms. The Rams reportedly had been offering Terrell the same $1.1 million deal they gave second-rounder Henley last season.

“From the standpoint of looking out at other contracts in the round, I really don’t feel that happy,” Terrell said. “But there are certain times where you’ve got to take your pride and put it in your pocket and go from there.”

Coach John Robinson said unsigned linebacker Kevin Greene met with Rams’ management Wednesday, but did not know whether Greene would sign in time to make Saturday’s charter flight to Berlin.
