The Village Arcadia, a 20-unit gated development of eight three-bedroom single-family houses and 12 three-bedroom duplex units, opens today in Arcadia east of the Santa Anita Race Track. Offered in three two-story floor plans ranging in size from 2,002 to 2,316 square feet, the houses by Century Pacific Associates are priced from $229,900 to $399,900.

Features include 2 1/2 baths, cathedral ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces, plant shelves, utility rooms, walk-in closets, private patios and two-car garages with roll-up doors and automatic openers.

Move-ins are planned for Sept. 15. There is a $135 monthly association fee. Two models are open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 420 E. California St., reached from the southbound Santa Anita Avenue exit of the Foothill (210) Freeway.

Aliso Viejo Homes

Seacoast Terrace, with 186 single-family houses by Kathryn G. Thompson Development Co., opens today in the Laguna Audubon planned community in Orange County’s Aliso Viejo.

The first phase of 18 three- and four-bedroom houses is available in three plans, ranging from 1,634 to 1,841 square feet, priced from $229,900 to $249,900. There is a monthly association fee of $79.04. Laguna Audubon has no connection, directly or indirectly, with, nor is it sponsored by the National Audubon Society or any of its affiliates.

First move-ins are planned for February. Three furnished models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at 2 Golden Eagle Court, reached from the Laguna Canyon Road exit of the San Diego (5) Freeway.

Houses in Fontana

Copper Crest at Southridge, a 113-unit single-family development by Century Homes Communities, opens today in the SouthRidge planned community in Fontana.

The first phase of 26 two-, three- and four-bedroom houses is priced from $120,990 to $157,990. The houses range in size from 897 to 1,770 square feet and have 2 or 2 1/2 baths. October move-ins are planned. There are parks and other recreational facilities in Southridge.

Two furnished models are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at 15475 Old Castle Road, reached from the northbound Country Village Road exit of the Pomona (60) Freeway.

Fontana Custom Series

Showcase Custom Series at Southridge opens today in the Southridge planned community in Fontana, with 253 three-, four- and five-bedroom single-family houses.

The 22 units in the first phase range in size from 1,710 to 2,454 square feet and are priced from $159,900 to $198,900. The builder is Showcase Homes. First move-ins are planned for December.

There is no association fee in the Southridge community, which includes eight parks, an Olympic-size swimming pool, schools, commercial centers and a fire station.

Four models, three of them furnished, are open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at 11425 Dogwood Court, reached from the southbound Cherry Avenue exit of the San Bernardino (10) Freeway.
