*** Various artists, “The Adventures of Ford Fairlane” sound track, Elektra.: Albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor) to five (a classic). :
A good sound-track album from a terrible movie. Most of it is rock and some of it is first-rate, particularly Billy Idol’s “Cradle of Love,” Motley Crue’s “Rock ‘n’ Roll Junkie” and Dion’s remake of “Sea Cruise.” The so-so cuts are Tone Loc’s “Can’t Get Enough” and “I Ain’t Got You” by Andrew Dice Clay, who stars in the movie. The Diceman’s singing is unintentionally hilarious.
