FHP International Corp.: The Fountain Valley-based health-maintenance organization said net income for the fiscal year rose 31% to $28.7 million, while revenue jumped 40% to $980.4 million. FHP attributed the gains to its expansion program. Fourth-quarter net income dipped 15% to $6.4 million, while revenue rose 41% to $281.3 million. The quarter was affected by $8.2 million in medical malpractice reserves.
