Actor Arrested on Drunk Driving Charge
Adam Rich, a co-star of the television series “Eight is Enough,” was arrested in West Hollywood early Saturday for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Rich, who will turn 22 next week, was stopped after deputies observed him driving erratically, nearly hitting several pedestrians and making an illegal U-turn, said Sheriff’s Lt. Don Swift of the West Hollywood station.
Rich played the role of Nicholas in “Eight is Enough,” a situation comedy about life in a large family. He also appeared two years ago in an anti-drug special that aired on public television stations.
