Lorimar’s President Quits to Start Own Firm
Lorimar Television President David Salzman has resigned to form Millenium, an independent production company 50% owned by Warner Bros. Lorimar, the largest supplier of prime time network series, is owned by Warner.
Millenium will develop programs for the emerging worldwide TV marketplace, including cable, networks and syndication. Distribution of shows will be handled through various Warner Bros. subsidiaries.
Warner Bros. did not announce a successor to Salzman.
