Assigning Blame on Budget Mess
I do not understand what $1 trillion is. I barely can grasp what $1 billion represents. I do comprehend $1 million. That is the money made by people who manage their income well and pay little taxes. I do know that I am working harder and feel more threatened than I ever have.
I would like to blame the President but he has already blamed Congress. I love my country. I want to believe in the legislative process, but somehow it is beginning to seem wrong. I think I have been spending too much time developing my own self-interests and not enough time understanding others. I think I am going to pay more attention to who and what I vote for.
