Holiday Craft Show to Benefit Museum
A holiday craft show to help fund the Stagecoach Inn Museum in Newbury Park has been scheduled Nov. 4 at the Thousand Oaks Recreation Center.
The show, to be held in honor of the late Donna Fargo, a Conejo Valley activist, will feature more than 75 artisans. Pottery, baskets and items to decorate the house will also be for sale.
The museum is the only remaining historical landmark in Newbury Park. It was built in 1876. Its grounds feature a replica of a pioneer home, a Spanish-Mexican adobe and a Chumash hut.
Refreshments will be sold by the Thousand Oaks High School Scholarship Foundation. Homemade candies and cookies, baked by docents of the Conejo Valley Historical Society, will also be sold.
