DANA POINT : Picnic Site Will Be Named for Reporter
Gordon Grant, a retired reporter for The Times Orange County Edition, will be honored today when a picnic site at Dana Point Harbor is named after him.
A bronze plaque describing Grant’s work will mark the trellised picnic area. Grant, who worked for The Times for nearly 30 years, covered wildlife and maritime issues in Orange County. He now lives in Dana Point with his wife, Gloria.
The dedication ceremony will begin at 1 p.m.
