Ocean View Knocked Out by Eisenhower
Omar Love rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns in 16 carries as top-seeded and unbeaten Rialto Eisenhower rolled over Ocean View, 27-7, in a Division I playoff game Friday.
Eisenhower (11-0), the Citrus Belt League champion, advances to a second-round game Friday against Mater Dei.
Love scored on touchdown runs of one and 43 yards, the second coming with 3:11 to play in the third quarter, blunting a potential Ocean View comeback.
The Seahawks (5-4-1) had scored on a 29-yard pass from Randy Karliner to Jeff Bush with 4:46 left in the third quarter, closing to 19-7.
Eisenhower intercepted Karliner’s passes three times.
