El Toro Will Play at Lynwood
El Toro High School lost a coin flip conducted at the Southern Section office Sunday and will travel to Lynwood (6-5) Friday night in second-round play of the Division II football playoffs.
El Toro (10-1) is seeded fourth in the division but will have been on the road for both playoff games. “The good news is, if we win, we’ll have a home game for the semifinals,” said Bob Johnson, El Toro coach.
In Division VI play, Valencia (10-1) won a coin flip and will play host to La Quinta (11-0) Friday at Bradford Stadium in Placentia.
