Reviewing Milli Vanilli, the Grammys and Today’s Music
If I found out that (the Rolling Stones’) “Satisfaction” was actually recorded by a group of obese, bald men with body odor, I’d still play it, because it’s a great record.
If record buyers were more concerned with the quality of the music and less concerned with the looks of performers, then record companies and producers wouldn’t commit such fraudulent schemes. The public gets what the public wants.
