I believe it when Mary Tyler Moore says that good roles are hard to come by, but please, Mary, do not accept scripts like “Thanksgiving Day” (NBC, Nov. 19). The movie was supposed to be a comedy, but it was just silly and you’re too good for such idiotic stuff.
