California IN BRIEF : VALLEJO : Thieves Prey on Hapless Fisherman
A Vallejo man wound up strolling naked along California 37 after two men offered him a ride and took his clothing, he told police. Officers said the 30-year-old man, whose name was not released, told them he had been fishing at a nearby stream when he ran out of bait. He started walking home when men going by in a car offered him a ride. After a few minutes, the men ordered the passenger to hand over his money. When he told them he did not have any, they told him to get his clothes off. The victim complied, and the thieves dropped him off and sped away.
