Hitachi, Nissan Form Car Electronics Firm: The Japanese electronics maker Hitachi Ltd. and the Japanese car maker Nissan Motor Co. said they will form a joint-venture company to make automotive electronics products. The new Japanese company, to be called Xanavi Informatics Corp., will make and market products such as automotive audio and video equipment, mobile telephones and navigation systems, the companies said in a news release.
