Pasadena : Water Rates to Increase
Water rates will increase 5.5% immediately under a rate hike approved Tuesday by the Board of Directors.
A typical single-family household using 13,464 gallons of water annually will see the bill rise to $14.17 in summer from the current $13.49, and $13.34 in winter from the current $12.72.
The increase will add $820,000 annually to the city Water Fund for capital improvements. Directors William Paparian and William Thomson opposed it.
