MISSION VIEJO : Hann New Head of Saddleback Schools
R. Kent Hann was elected president of the Saddleback Valley Unified School District this week, replacing Dr. Dore J. Gilbert. It is the second time Hann, a seven-year member of the board, has been president. He was unanimously elected by the five-member board.
Hann, a 43-year-old Laguna Hills resident, owns an advertising agency. As president, he will chair the board’s meetings, appoint committees and represent the district at various functions.
Raghu P. Mathur was elected by the board to a second consecutive term as vice president and Marcia Birch was elected clerk.
