CHICAGO — Favored Sharp Whitney took the lead from Princess Joy on the final turn and went on to win the Smart Set purse at Hawthorne Race Course by three lengths.
Ridden by Juvenal Diaz, the winner paid $5.20 after covering 1 mile and 70 yards in 1:44.
