CS Long Beach Women Upset by California, 85-66
Trisha Stafford scored 31 points to lead California to an 85-66 upset victory over Cal State Long Beach’s 15th-ranked women’s basketball team Saturday night at Berkeley.
Penny Moore lead the 49ers (5-3) with 14 points. Long Beach plays its final nonconferencegame against 18th-ranked Louisiana State Tuesday at Long Beach.
Cal, which led, 45-41, at halftime, improved to 6-3.
